Bio, Tal Koch
Tal Koch is a tenor singer-songwriter, combines different worlds, places and eras into a unique heartfelt fusion. His inspirations include the Bible, Psalms, poetry, baroque, theater, chanson, folk and pop. A Yemenite German-Israeli living in Berlin.

Tal is a graduate of The Rimon School of Jazz and Pop and of the Levinsky College in Israel. Singing as a soloist with most of the orchestras in Israel, some of his landmarks include:
Performing in the Israel National Theater "Habima", "The Israeli Vocal Ensemble". Actor in “Itamar meets a rabbit“ (Grossman-Rechter), singing under the conductors Andrew Parrott and Christian Lindberg and with the WDR Chor (Cologne). Designing a long-term memorial project with his own compositions at the memorial track 17 at Grunewald S-Bahn station.
His diverse repertoire ranges from Bach to Puccini to Ramirez, Christmas Oratorio, Mozart Requiem and Missa Criolla. In Berlin he founded his own ensemble "Jarock", which celebrates old and new Hebrew poems. Jarock will be releasing a new album sometime in 2023. His new solo album, titled simply, "Tal", was released in january 2023 and includes 12 songs he wrote and composed. The album was received well and has had airplay on radio stations in Germany, Israel and France.
Other current projects are:
Freelance Cantor for synagogues in Berlin, Hanover and Paris, Composer with the "Die Drei Kantoren".
Conducting choirs in Berlin and teaching voice and Piano lessons .
